I know nothing about DS, so I appreciate your sharing your food day and explaining how it all works out once the food enters your body.  I did learn a lot from your post.  Thank you.

You don't have to feel sorry or apologize to anyone for posting what you do. You're living your truth. I don't think it's fair for people to attack you for that.

Thank you, Joe. If I am reading right, it looks like your surgery is tomorrow?

Congratulations and best of luck. I hope you have an uneventful surgery and smooth recovery!

Thank you. Yes, I have to report to the hospital tomorrow morning. Well, actually later this morning. :)

I'll be on the loser's bench in no time. Thanks for the well-wishes and the encouragement.

Jenna, you are my DS hero! I'm still planning on moving in under your dining room table and just eating whatever happens to fall by the wayside in your house. lol You food looks absolutely amazing! I don't know for sure if I could finish the entire plate at each of those meals, but I'd sure love to try!!! Maybe my issue is that I don't usually spend a full 30 minutes eating. I eat until I'm full and then I run on to the next item on the day's agenda. I eat more frequently throughout the day and ultimately end up with a similar total amount of food eating across the day. Hmmm, I think I'm gonna need me some bacon and eggs for breakfast tomorrow morning! I love my DS!

Aww, thanks Sarah. LOL about living under my dining room table. I need to have a DS dinner party one of these days, I should make that happen.

Even pre-op, I would eat my meals over the course of about 30 minutes. During the weekend, my family uses meal time to catch up, so we always have long chats. I'm often too busy flapping my yap to eat more than a bite or two at a time. During the work day, I am always interrupted and on the run, so there I eat my meals over like 45 mins.

Whatever works, right?
