****waffle.  Thanks for this word.  I am going to start using it immediately.  It's even funnier than "douche canoe".

*sigh*

Are you actually USING a 1611 KJV? Where did you get it? Hint: The KJV's in print today have been significantly updated in language from 1611. You would have to hunt pretty hard to find one with the actual 1611 text. Where did you get yours?

Where did the 1611 KJV come from?

Which is the "only" Bible for people who do not read English?

Do you really understand the English of 1611? Prove it.

I would LOVE to have a copy of the original 1611 version for my collection. AND a copy of the Wycliffe Bible. LOVE. The English is so pretty. If I had my druthers we would all speak in thees and thous and wherefores. *sigh* I should have been born in that time period. But the one where they had flushing toilets and running ho****er.

...And vaccines and antibiotics, for starters :-p.

You know you can read a fairly unadulterated version of the Wycliffe via www.biblegateway.com .

FSM help us---here's another one of these idiots who think there was no Christian bible until King James paid some people to write one that supported the things he wanted the people to believe.

So, Savedbaptis---did everyone who lived before the King James version of the bible was written automatically go straight to Hell? What about people today who can't read English? Do they go straight to Hell, too?

Eskimo: "If I did not know about God and sin, would I go to hell?" Priest: "No, not if you did not know."

Eskimo: "Then why did you tell me?"
