How often do you throw up?
I usually did in the beginning when something got caught and could not go through my lil opening. 4 times in the last 3 months from something to dry and caught, but once I throw up, it is over and life grows on last week I had two small bites of texas toast with sliced beef. I got the feeling and I knew what I needed to do, I had to help it out cause it was stuck and could not passed through the pouch. live and learn I knew better, no soft toast no matter how what. lol good luck
Not since I had surgery.
And to be quite honest I'm kind of paranoid now. Even though I'm well healed. I sort of expected it early on at least. But it just never happened.

nearly 8 years postop and haven't tossed cookies or foamed in over 2 years or so...been so long I can't really remember. It gets better as you go. If you're throwing up, you might try chewing a lot more, using sauces and stuff to make sure your food is ultra moist and if it keeps getting worse, talk to your doc. Could be a stricture developing (if you're an RNY)...just a thought.

We are on year 3 in our house and it's still kicking our asses. We've finished the kitchen and ripped out and reinsulated all exterior walls. We've finished 90% of the electrical and plumbing, reroofed and replaced all 22 windows...but still have TONS left to do. I'm loving it though!
How old is your new/old house? Ours turns 100 years in December and am planning an open house. Weee such fun, eh?

Mine was built in 1920, so it's only 90. I've put on a new metal roof, torn off a dangerous back porch, have built a new back porch with a new design, and have set the piers for a two-level deck coming off that porch. (I love to live outdoors in the summer!)
I've also ripped up carpet---1900 square FEET of carpet---stripped off about a thousand square feet of glued-down linoleum, and a layer of pressboard off the main bedroom floor. I've yet to lay a new layer of hardwood in there, or sand the hardwood that was under the lino. (In the living room, the lino was patterened to LOOK LIKE HARDWOOD, LOL.)
In the bedroom I also ripped of the sheetrock, to reveal bead board. I've painted that, because it wasn't in good enough shape to strip and stain, and I've painted the pickwick paneling in the diningroom and kitchen---that's made th house SO much brighter!
I haven't tackled th bathroom yet. It has a shower surround so old that it's Harvest Gold---but the walls are papered with country-blue geese. (*sigh*) It's a big room, with a washer and dryer in to, but the vanity is about 18" square. I plan on moving the laundry to the other side of the wall, which will put them in my sewing room where they belong. (*grin*) Then I'm going to replacd the tub and put in a good vanity, and PAINT THE WALLS!!!
All my plants that I brought from the old place are flowering in pots. I fugure that anything that survivied the winter (an unsually cold one, too) in pots will be very happy in the ground. It's that ol' Darwinian gardening technique again. (*grin*)

That sounds totally awesome! So happy for you. I love my old monster and all the ancient vibes in it. I'm sure you'll be happy when you're done!
