How often do you throw up?

I am a bit over 2 months post op and still throw up every so often.  I throw up maybe once every other day, it could be after eating something (usually meat!!) or from taking too big of a drink with  my medication.

How often do you throw up and what triggers it?

I am 8 months out and I havent thrown up once yet. I have always been a bit weak in my tummy so I was worried throwing up would be a problem but not at all. I even managed to not get the tummy flu that went around twice this year.

I dont even feel like I chew all the differently or eat differently now...its weird to feel sooo normal in this area AND be dropping weight so consistently.

Not real often now but I did a lot in the beginning.  I threw up last night, though.  I think it was from eating too fast and not chewing well enough.  I was eating my regular evening snack of a few pretzels and some cheese and I was in a hurry and as soon as I was done my stomach started to hurt and then some of it came back up.

I'd say I might throw up once a month these days and it's usually eating too fast or eating a little too much.  I measure my food most of the time but occasionally I got out to eat or I'm at someone's house and I try to just guess the amount and I'm not very good at that.

I usually throw up if I eat more than I should. Still trying to learn to recognize when the pouch is full before it is overfull. Just one extra bite, and I know almost immediately that it isn't going to stay put.

I'm well over 2 years out from DS and I still throw up at least once every couple of weeks. Usually from eating too much too fast. Sometimes just for the heck of it because something decided not to agree with me for some unknown reason.

So far, I haven't thrown up.  I've felt like I was going to a couple of times, but it finally stayed put.  Both times, it was because I didn't chew something well enough before swallowing.  I would have felt better -- quicker -- If I HAD thrown up.

I've been very careful ever since about eating slowly and chewing to a pulp before swallowing and haven't had any more problems.

10 weeks out.  I've had foamies about 6 times and have thrown up 4 of those times.  Once with pork, once with shrimp, once with chicken, once with steak.....never with ground beef though.  But I do not eat meat often.  Lately I am into greek yogurt with sugar free flavoring and bran stirred in for fiber, and also into beans.  I make bean salad out of several kinds of rinsed and drained beans, finely chopped celery, onions and green peppers and a small amount of low fat italian dressing.  Salt and pepper and some cumin and I'm good to go.  And it lasts a long time in the fridge.
