Should RNY patients wear medical alert bracelets?

I found a web site where you can make your own Medical ID card for free.  Ifilled it out, printed it and laminated it.  It's easy to update when things like my meds change.

all the rave now is the emergency flash drives that can attach to key rings,  but i quess they could get separated from the body

Hi all, my nephew is the captain of a local firehouse near me.  He also is an EMT when he's not at the firehouse.  He said it is EXTREMELY important to get one of these for us patients.  If you read above, then you know you should get it for No NG Tubes and No NSAIDS.  He said they also check the wrists of unconsious patients.  He said they never check wallets, purses, necklaces, etc. So it's very important to get one ASAP and get one you'll like so you will wear it.  They have a beautiful selection at www.LaurensHope.com.
