Miralax, blood draw, and fasting question

I am supposed to get a blood draw this morning, but I forgot last night and took some miralax just before bed.  Is that going to be an issue with the fasting requirement for the blood draw or is that considered the same as water?

How long do I need to have been fasting for?  Is 8 hours enough?  Or is it supposed to be 12?

8 hours is generally considered fine.

If the miralax was taken the night before, it's fine.

Normally for all fasting blood draws I am given instruction not to have anything after midnight. So unless you went to bed after midnight I don't think you will have a problem.

Yup, I went to bed at 1:30am (I'm a night owl), and I had the Miralax at that time.  The 8-hour answer was a relief, because I had the blood draw around noon.  It would have been difficult to remain fasting for much longer to get to 12 hours.  I would have been fine with 12 hours if I hadn't taken the Miralax.
