I've already had two since they've come out and they are delicious!  I had the fried version and I had enough for lunch and then a snack later on.  They run around $4.99 here in Indy.

I might try it, but it just doesn't sound all that great to me. Now mashed taters and gravy with a grilled chicken breast is another story!

I had the fried one and loved it but then again anything with bacon i will eat and love.  I thought it was going to be too big to eat the whole thing but i got it all down at lunch that day and even managed to eat a little cole slaw too.   I might go to kfc tonight for another - just thinking about it makes me hungry.

Meh, I'm not that interested in KFC, but that's because I'm a chicken snob. If I were going to have this combination of stuff I would want a proper chicken cordon bleu. My idea of yummy chicken is half a chicky from a German roadside stand.....ah memories......

In principle though? Absolutely. It's DS health food.

I am insane over chicken cordon bleu. Unfortunately I just tried a new restaurant, and they had the best chicken cordon bleu I've ever had (and I've had hundreds).

That place was horribly overpriced and had a dress code and snobby staff, so I dearly want to boycott them, but until I can find or make equally good cordon bleu, I'll be there often .

I tried the fried.

More hype than it was worth.

Good morning everyone,

I happened to be cruising along when I noticed the big advertisement for the new Double Down that KFC is now offering...naturally they show the 2 fried chicken breast...but I just learned that they also are available with grilled chicken...

So have any of you tried to convince yourself that hmmm a grilled double down with the monteray jack cheese, pepper jack cheese (without the bacon) and a litte colonel sauce wouldn't do too much harm...

or have any one just boldly said I'm gonna get it...if so, how did it taste...I wanna live vicariously through your taste buds...

Grilled, no. Fried, yes.

No, I would not touch the grilled version. The fried? Now that I will eat. In fact I've had several since they came out. Good stuff, and good for me.

I keep seeing posts about this KFC thing, and don't get why it's such a brouhaha.

It's just a sandwich, that they did me the favor of throwing away the carby bun. Oodles of protein, the fat mostly passes through my DS anatomy, so it's all good.

On a perfect day I prefer to avoid preservatives which fast food has plenty of, so I'd like one better that I made myself, but some days fast food is a necessity, and this will be a good choice for me.
