I did not eat KFC pre-op, so that would be a NO for me.

(small voice) I do, however, have the occasional longing for a bite of a Big Mac. For I did love them so!

There. I said it.

I may try the grilled version.  I'm not to fond of KFC...I'd rather have Popeye's.  If it were on a bun then I could see myself being a bit interested but not to the point that I'd go out my way and get one.  I'm a fillet o' fish girl from Mickey's.

As a DSer who will malabsorb 80% of the fat (and the calories from the fat), YES!  I've had 2 of them since they came out.  They were good and a GREAT source of protein.  It's a lot of food, so I couldn't really fini**** off in one sitting.  It was pretty tasty.

I will try it for sure-the grilled of course !  It will probably be a great $ saver, coz it looks like I can get 4 meals out of it!

neither appeal to me at this point... but if they did I sure would eat it.

after all how much can 3 bites of something hurt?  (that's about all I'd be able to handle at 7 months out....)

As Glee's Mercedes would say, "Hell to the Naw!"  Danger Will Robinson.  Run away - Run away!  I think because I have taken that approach to problem foods, I have been successful.  Not every one has to go with the denial, but I jsut don't see the reason to introduce such a food to a food sick person like myself.

Good morning everyone,

I happened to be cruising along when I noticed the big advertisement for the new Double Down that KFC is now offering...naturally they show the 2 fried chicken breast...but I just learned that they also are available with grilled chicken...

So have any of you tried to convince yourself that hmmm a grilled double down with the monteray jack cheese, pepper jack cheese (without the bacon) and a litte colonel sauce wouldn't do too much harm...

or have any one just boldly said I'm gonna get it...if so, how did it taste...I wanna live vicariously through your taste buds...

I wouldn't eat it.  I'm a full fat - low white carb person but I just don't do fast food unless Pizza Hut counts. ;o)

Um...hells yes I would.

I heard it's kinda expensive though, and there aren't too many KFCs around here.

It's 4.99. Which is not too bad I price I think for two chicken breast filets (which is basically what it is).

Either way it lasts me two meals (of the ones I've had) And I can eat a lot usually. It's just the chicken it fills me up so fast.

I'm pretty sure bacon tastes as good as thin feels!

I had the grilled version, it made two meals for me.  It was absolutely delicious!  Tender juicy chicken that my pouch had no problems with and a great amount of protein.  My doctor has never worried about the fat, he said the lowfat products are filled with so much sugar and crap to make up for the missing fat that for the small amounts I use full fat is fine.  Im going to have another one this weekend heh.
