PCCM Medicaid

Does anyone know of any clinic in the Dallas Area that takes PCCM Medicaid

Dr Stewart doesnt and Neither does Glen IHdeI also called Dr Provost they dont take PCCM

Im trying to find a Clinic in the Dallas Area that takes this type of Medicaid

I submitted paperwork to Tyler Bariatric In Tyler Texas 2 months ago called today they told me it

them 6-8 months before they can get to your paperwork im like man thats really bad

So wait the six to eight months for them to get to your paperwork. In the meantime, do what the rest of us have done and lose the weight that most Medicaid programs are going to require you to lose on a six month diet anyway.

Do you have a regular doctor you go to? Have him get the ball rolling and while you're waiting for the surgeon's office to get to you, get the pre-op testing done.

Jackie, I cant believe you are still answering this tool's questions.  He keeps asking the same questions over & over again!  Then he doesnt take anyones advice anyway!  You have more patience than I do  lol

Call your medicaid office or if you have your medicaid insurance book look in it and see if there is a surgeon listed. Take your time and find out what it is you need to do to qualify for the surgery.

Wait the 6 months and in th meantime go get the necessary preop tests so you will be prepared.  Get a Stress Test, an upper endoscopy, a sleep study, go get a Psych evaluation, go to your Primary care physician for monthly weigh ins for 6 months - this required for most insurance, not sure about medicaid and go on a diet and start losing weight.  This can give you a big start.

and yes I called medicaid
