Good morning - congrats on your decision to have surgery. I wish you the very best on your journey to a new you. As to the hot sauce - you are correct in your assumption that you might not even care for it after surgery - I love hot sauce and I'm able to use it since my RNY. As soon as the pureed stage because it went well with my refried beans - which I live on for a while -  But you will have to first, check your doc's list of approved foods and if he/she says it's okay - you can try it. On the other hand, if your new pouch rebells - you will have to wait and try again at a later time. Hope this helps some - have a wonderful day.

hugs,

I  spicy foods and enjoy them frequently.  Of course, you will have to lay off of them in the beginning.

You may be sensitive to sugar so, how much sugar does it contain?

I ate hot stuff right out of the gate, never had any trouble.  Since I couldn't eat much, I wanted my food to have lots of flavor.

Please consider attending Synery's support group meetings.  They're awesome!

It never occured to me not to eat hot sauce. Of course I did not use it while on the liquid stage, but that was the only time lol
