Lotions or Potions for Skin?

I am wondering what is best to use while losing weight for your body, face and neck. If anyone has some suggestions of things to try, please let me know. I know there will be extra skin but I figure something has to be better than nothing to nourish your skin.

Any good lotion really... all the skin tightening creams etc are really a lot of hype (I think I tried them all lol... I will say I saw Mederma now has a stretch mark cream I may check out price depending!!). I liked good ole cocoa butter (palmers) for the body and Ive always used clinique products on my face/neck area.

First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

Extended TT, lipo, fat injections - 11/2011

BA/BL/Arm Lift - 7/2014

Scar revision on arms - 3/2015

HALO laser on arms/neck 9/2016

Thigh lift 10/2020

I doubt that any lotion is going to help with your extra skin, if that's what you mean. However, I got very, very dry itchy skin a few months after my RNY and I used an anti-itch lotion from Eucerin that was very good and helped a lot.

No cream, lotion or potion will unstretch skin. The only way to get rid of it is to cut it away.

Nourish away, but know that you'll be left with nourished excess skin.

There really is no magic potion to tighten your skin when you lose weight. Drink plenty of fluids, though, to keep it hydrated and vibrant looking and stick to a good standard grooming routine.

Oh well, it didn't hurt to ask. I'll just have to try different lotions and save for ps.
