For me...ask away...I have a support group of friends from Kaiser that I took 6 months of classes with, and this site...so I have a great support group!  I am here for you

Denise,

Thanks so much for your support.  Congratulations on being 2 lbs away from your Goal weight.  You should be so proud of yourself.  I'm currently on the search for a good Miami support group as well, so I'll let everyone know how that goes.

I am new, too, but I found some support buddies already by looking for people who very recently had, or are having very soon, the same surgery that I want.  That way I can read about their "newbie" post-op experiences (learn) and successes (be motivated)... everyone I have reached out to has been AWESOME so far! :)

maryposa,

Definitely, thats a great idea! I'm going to do the same.  Thanks for the tip. =-)
Hi Maryposa -
Best of luck with getting your sleeve approved - I love it.  I wrote a reflection on 6 months post op of the sleeve and it is in my blog.  It might give you some insight from my personal experience vs hearing things only from your health care provider.
