Just wait until Monday.

Let's get Michelle's take.

Like I said.  Heavily medicated.  Hope that I'm wrong.

I concur with your assessment of the label. confusing. Misleading.

P.S.  My year + long absence has NOTHING to do with my WLS, or my type of WLS. See my profile.

I think many docs don't tell us what kind to take because they don't know.  My surgeon actually told me to take Caltrate, which is calcium carbonate.  I said, but don't we absorb calcium citrate better?  He said, um, yes, I guess so.  I said well, then, I think I'll take that!  Duh.  I think he really didn't know which was better.

He also told me to take two multis a day but didn't say what kind.  Actually, I believe he said any kind would be fine.  Well, that's not true.  All multis are not the same.

He also told me I didn't need iron at all.

Okay, seriously, I'm barely functioning over here.

Does this loo*****y to you knowing the molecular weights and things?  Or should I just go to bed and hope for death?

I didn't look at the website since I saw you said you couldn't see the right information without a password.  But no, if they are saying that 1000 mg calcium is 42% of the RDA, something is off.  1000 mg is 100% of the RDA. So either they are not measuring elemental calcium or they are just making up some numbers or something.
