OMG! I thought I was going out of my mind! Since my surgery my hubby and I don't waste our money eating out and spend more time eating at home like we should! So we have started treating ourselves with movies every now and then..the first movie I stood up after and my tail bone was on fire!! I thought there was something wrong with me hahahah im sorry ur having pain but i am glad im not alone! I hope my tailbone gets over itself and the pain stops lol

It was aggrivated for a couple of months when I lost my cushion and I would sit between cushions on the sofa to give it a place to swing without pressure, then one day......gone.

I bought a couple of ****yx pillows on the internet, and they really helped me with the problem as I lost weight.

Of course, this was at home, when I went somewhere, and sat down for any length of time it became uncomfortable again.

But, the problem seems to have resolved itself, as I have a boney butt now, and don't hurt as much unless I sit for hours watching a DVD.  And, I can put the movie on pause, and get up and walk around a bit, then I'm good to go again.

HTH,

Fred

I spoke with my chiropractor about my tailbone pain. He did an adjustment one time I felt relief that day and I personally have no more tailbone pain its been about a yr now. Good luck Hugs Toni

When I lay on my back on a exercise ball for a minute or so - it really seems to help!

I've been having this issue, too. Flew back and forth from Virginia to Vegas, and MAN that hurt! Sitting in a cheap Southwest seat for that long was killer.
