I was told that i SHOULD weigh daily and I do and there are days when i might go up 2 lbs (usually never more) but then in a couple days its gone plus another lb. I think its normal. Also, i think weighind daily for me is good because later down the road when my weight is off i can keep track of it better, if it starts to creep up i'll know immediately rather than wait a week and gain more.

Hey Joy,
Dr. Oz (and he is the expert) says when you work out, your muscles retain fluid because they have been strained and it's perfectly normal.....soooo don't worry, it's only water. Go, go, go!!   Connie

I think you are probably right. I did a little research after I read your response and there is quite a lot out there about muscles retaining water.  Thanks so much for that tidbit; I had no idea about that.  So much to learn!

Do you always weigh at the gym? I have read that gym scales are the WORST scales to ever weigh yourself on! They are never calibrated and have a few hundred people a day stand on them every day!

I would suggest for your own sanity, invest in a good scale for your home. Weigh yourself there at the same time of day wearing the same thing every time and ONLY rely on what that scale says, not the doctor scale, not the gym scale, only your own personal scale!

Hope this helps!
