I'm hoping mine will increase!! I've been on zoloft since my son was 6 months old - started it December '06. I REALLY have low sex drive. It wasn't too bad before starting, but after I've noticed a difference. My hubby told me, when I found I was pregnant with my daughter, that he didn't know how it happened since we didn't have sex that often, LOL.

Anyways, good for you!! I hope I follow in your footsteps ;)

I've read where so many people have much more, or much less sex drive post - WLS. Not too surprising since all the hormones and crap that our fat cells have been hoarding are now being dumped into the body.

Be grateful you are in the group of haves, rather than the have-nots!

I've read that as you are losing weight..especially quickly that your sex drive is off the charts!  Mine has always been that way anyway so the thought kinda scares me! lol

You're a Freak, with a capital F! Just kidding. Lol. But seriously, starting at about 6 weeks all a wanted was sex, sex, and more sex. And more sex. And more sex. Now I'm almost 5 months out, and it hasn't changed.

I believe it's a combination of hormones and the fact that you like yourself and are feeling for comfortable with your body. I do. I talked to husband about it last night--almost 14 years ago when we met, I didn't want the lights on, didn't want anyone looking until I got under the covers. And back then I was around the size I am now or smaller--Honey says I'm smaller. Yes, I'm more comfortable now ( it HAS been 14 years), but I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I'm more comfortable in my own (albeit saggy) skin and I think I'm attractive.

It may calm down a little after a while. But maybe not. I don't see it happening anytime soon for me. Poor honey, we were fighting about sex 2 months ago--rain, or shine, in sickness and in health (and you better believe I remined him too), I wanted sex, sex, sex. Nothing wrong with that!

Lord, I hope it happens for me lol...I get into it after we've started, but there's no "drive" at all anymore.  I've been blaming it on age, weight, and hormones, so I've fiercely got my fingers crossed!

Mine has increased but my partner (now ex as of last weekend) had the problems of keeping up. Maybe it's a good thing he's my ex.  A friend who also had the surgery said she has no desire foe sex.  Poor friend!
