Carne Wilson, This may be brutal
I watched. I don't 'get' it. You gave your opinion on her show. Isn't that what TV critics do like... ALL THE Freakin' TIME?
I don't care if you're the POTUS, you don't call me at 1:30 in the morning unless you know...there is like an EMERGENCY. I find that creepy. Almost as creepy as being hounded by GN, etc on Twitter.
Seriously?

Completely and totally wrong.
So have you had your surgery yet, are you one of those happy newbies still in the glorious honeymoon period where it seems like you don't have to do **** to lose the weight?!?! I would LOVE to know.
You have no idea her cir****tances and why she has gained weight. She is being scrutinized in the public eye, being called a "load" by rude and insincere people, AND had two children post RNY. All of those can definitely lead to some weight gain.
Have a pregnancy post RNY is tough!! You are suddenly going from a high protein diet to a balanced diet with carbs carbs carbs!! That alone will cause some weight gain. Plus, you are forced to eat more than you normally would for the health of your baby. So factor in the 9 month gestation period, and the 6-12 months after birth that most woman breastfeed (which also required about 500+ extra calories a day) that 15-21 months of altered eating that is not ideal for the post RNY patient. And she did that TWICE!!! Of course she gained some weight!!!
I have had one pregnancy post RNY, and while it was an easy pregnancy, i still gained 31 lbs. Even if most of that comes of, the emotional feelings that go along with voluntarily gaining weight after working so hard to lose so much can cause stress and bad eating!! I have lost all but 7 lbs of mine, but it still sucks!!!
So, go easy on her!!

Taunia-
I could be wrong, but I think she was replying to the OP in this thread, Jupiter?
I got this thread confused with yours too. I meant to post my above comment on the one you posted about Carnie calling you at 1:30 in the morning.

No you are NOT wrong!
I agree Carnie was doomed to fail from the get-go.
She was ill-prepared and ill-informed even before her WLS. And there is NO excuse for that considering the resources she had access to compared to what your average WLS pre-op/post-op has.
You hear people call WLS the easy way out. Apparently, she was stupid enough to believe that it was. It was blatantly obvious she was one of those idiots who just thought she'd have surgery and it would "fix" her, make her skinny and that would be the end of it.
What an idiot.
