Just needed to vent....

My mother in law passed away during the wee hours of this morning after such a short and grueling battle with cancer. She was the most amazing person ever and didn't deserve to go this way! I am angry with God but then again I am am greatful she went fast!

I went to vist her last night and I was about to walk out her door, but something stopped me and I turned around and went back in and gave her a hug and told her I loved her for the first time since I have been married to her son (5 years).

I have never had a mother and she has been my mother...she loved me and was my best friend!

Ok enough of the tears...just needed to vent!
I bleed BLACK and GOLD...STEELERS FOOTBALL...Its in my soul!

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's never easy losing someone you love. I'm glad you gave her a hug and told her you loved her. As unexpected as it was I hope you can take so comfort knowing that she didn't have to suffer. You're in my thoughts and prayers!

I'm so, so  sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is. I just lost my mom at the age of 48 only 10 months ago. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

I'm very sorry for your loss.  Cancer is a bear to beat.  When my dad was diagnosed with lung cancer, from diagnosis to death was only 3 weeks!  I'm so glad you took the time to share your feelings about your MIL with her; now you will always have this sweet memory to carry with you the rest of your life, with no regrets.  HUGS!

You know, God did give you a great gift -- several:  a husband with an amazing mother, a mother-in-law whom you loved, and the urge to turn around and go give her a hug and tell her how you felt!  What a gift!  And it may the gift she was waiting for so she could move on to where she needed to be next.

Blessings to you and your family.
