I had my chiropractor document lower back pain and back sprains from the hanging panni, and also had my GYN document the need to remove the panni so I could have a healthier, less complicated future pregnancy.

That along with my PCP documenting the ongoing skin issues, and the Plastic Surgeon documenting the problems got my insurance to pay for a panniculectomy (skin removal only, no muscle tightening).

Debbie I personally thank you. My insurance will cover the panni but only for 2 reasons. The skin overhang and sores/rash. I have neither. But I do have bad hip pain, which I'm under my pcp for care.
