Look at you, Lynn. You are the picture of fashion and refined professionalism!

Thanks for the kind words and I've had nearly a year without other health care issue or the need for more surgery.

I'm thankful for the band experience and credit it for letting me immediately adjust post sleeve. Everything carried over for me.

Good to see you also!

People could've just copy and pasted it in there before..
same thing.
Anyone wanting to share on FB.. already was. This changes nothing..

it just takes away from false sense of security that people had for some odd reason.

Can the "Share" button be moved?  I've accidentally hit it about three times today and I've never done that with the "EMail" button.  I think it's too close to the "Post Reply" button.  Thanks for considering this if you can - I love my OH!!

Hey Pam,
We are going to move it to the right where it is a bit more out of the way.

Well- I for one am GONE face-wise name wise from OH .  Yes it was technically unsecure before the button but it wasn't ridiculously easy to post  other's "private "  content .  Now the button has made it both tempting and easy to do so .

I agree that it is OH management's decision to troll for new members by exposing OH  members private postings  to public scrutiny and that its a numbers game for them.

I know I matter a lot more to ME and that I've worked very hard to get where I've gotten in my life and the fact of my having had WLS  being made public could and would hurt me both at work and in my social ambitions.

So regrettably I won't be anywhere near as effective trying to help others in here- I'l still chat  and I'll still post occasionally but I'll always censor what I say knowing it could very well lead back to me .

Out of curiosity, did you used to have your real name and location listed on your profile?  If so, did you ever Google your own name?  If so, you would realize that anyone that did so would have found your posts on here.  same if you use(d) a common nickname, etc.

It's a gopod rule to NEVER post anything on ANY webpage that you wouldn't want someone else finding out.

Also, and this is a huge peeve of mine - it's very unlikely that a post that's sent to FB would be viewable to EVERYONE on the site.... I know that I only allow my posts and info there to be seen by my friends.  I would expect, in this day and age, that most people would make similar security choices.

It's not like it's being put on a billboard for everyone and their brother to see.

Just sayin'\

I'm also going to say that I feel used and betrayed and angry - and I think this will prove an unwise business decision in the long run .

Good luck getting people to let U publish their before and after pictures now !

I still don't like it!

I was completely aware that all my info could be copied and pasted before but somehow this just makes it that bit easier.

And if it has made no difference as peopld keep on saying, why bother to put it there and make a very large number of people feel uncomfortable?
