I personally do not appreciate the fact that OH did not give members the courtesy of notification regarding a major change to the site before launching it.  This way people are free to make an informed decision whether to continue or not. Is this the way you plan to do business in the future?  Its a matter of trust. I think all members should be notified when changes occur that might impact them. Its the right thing to do.

I personally HATE the share with all major social groups idea, but I get it....you wanna be all hip and cool like the rest of the sites. 

If the majority of your posters don't care for it then why keep it?  Maybe you're getting kick backs from the site $$$  I can understand that since we don't pay you anything.

There are over 6000 members that have posted on the main board in the last year alone.  (Go up to the member list at the top.  40 people per page, 150 pages)

That's people who have posted.  On the main board only.  That's not including lurkers or people who go and post only on other boards.

I don't think the majority of people have even weighed in on the issue -- one way or the other.


(Not that it matters.  Again, OH isn't a democracy.)

 Well, I'm certainly glad to have relived the last five pages from two years ago this morning.
