Hey, I was in Atlanta.  I know the NEED.  I'm just wondering who came up with that menu -- Mexican, seriously?  Without a side of Devrom?  Why not just top it off with Malitol?

Why are people think that share on Facebook now opens their posts to the ENTIRE WORLD....is ObesityHelp not www.obesityhelp.com that's www=WORLD WIDE WEB.

Your posts have always been viewable to ANYONE, EVERYONE on the INTERNET...even if not copied and pasted...OH IS VIEWABLE BY EVERYONE!!!!!

We're working on
1.  Removing sharing from adult forums. 
2.  Adding an option for group owners to turn off sharing in their groups. 
3.  Moving the sharing button to a better location and disabling the rollover.

Will there be an "Are you sure you want to share this" option before it actually completes? That would help if you accidently pushed the button. Would or could there be a safeguard that no one could share a post that isn't there post?

How about making it so that we could indicate on our profiles to OPT OUT of the share? So that if someone chooses to share the thread, the member photo and response will not appear?

much too complicatede....think I will back off "sharing anything on here fr awhile until I feel more secure....my little forum was fine....I don't want to be plastered all over OH AND Facebook etc etcf etc....I am a business person and my little forum is like family...very sad to lose them.

Great idea - I think several people have mentioned this but no response from OH yet.  OH - can you respond to this suggestion? Would this be possible?

Someone mentioned earlier that if you google your name, your profile will pop up......

I use to have my real name and as soon as I googled it and it popped up that i was considering WLS for everyone to see, I changed my account and I have removed all my pics too....Some people actually post PS pics and I can't imagine they would want those public on FB!

I have a few OH friends on FB.  I have lots of relatives and friends that do NOT know, nor do I want them to know something that is really not their concern.  It would be very easy for the "wrong" thread to end up in the wrong place.  I have many friends on FB I have never met because some of the FB games thrive on numerous friends.

What I tell my kids all the time is beware of what and where they post on the internet cause it could very well end up on a billboard for everyone and his brother to see.

I would hope that OH would at least put a choice on there for "Allow share with Facebook" or "DON'T allow share with Facebook".  I do know as a relatively private person, if this were a possibility when I signed up, I would never have signed up and this will probably be the step that will cause me to leave completely

I just want to add for OH....Some people are very open about WLS, but I believe there are many more like me who believe that WLS is a very PRIVATE and personal decision.  It is hard enough to deal with being fat, but having to deal with the way so many people think of WLS that it is the "easy way out" and you have no self-control.  I really don't think it is right for anyone to be able to share my personal info.  The few people I have shared with here have something in common with me.  To share this with strangers on FB or any other site....no one should be able to do that unless I allow it.
