Baby Aspirin and Gastric Bypass

If you are going to take it, ask your doctor for nexium or protonix to protect your pouch from ulcers.  Another option is to ask your doctor for plavix - that is what they have me on as prevention for heart attack or stroke due to blocked arteries in my coronary and corotid arteries.  Even with the plavix, I take protonix because it still puts me at risk for ulcers but less than with aspirin.
