OK - first learn how to spell and use correct grammar.

That said - I am a Texan, too, and I will say that I regret getting WLS.  But that said, you have to do all the research before you make the decision. I made my decision w/o having all the facts. YES - can you bleed to death, and you can have serious complications, but you can die from  being fat, too.

I do not know the answer for you - but you need to explore all of your options. My regrets for having WLS are due to my not being overweight enough to warrant it , and to having some other conditions that are NOT addressed w/ wls.

People can make valid points even if they have trouble with language mechanics, usage, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

 Hi there --

It is wonderful that you realized that you did not want this surgery, BEFORE having the surgery.  This procedure takes commitment and if a person isn't committed to it -- it's a whopper of a mistake!

You have many good reasons for putting this procedure off, or perhaps not having it at all.  But if you later decide that you wish to have it done, it will be waiting for you!!!

Has anyone notice that he still hasn't said why he even posted his first comment.  He has replied to some of the comments.  And just for fun I looked up a couple of TX surgeons and on the second one found this: Dr . Jayasleen in Dallas takes medicaid .. his website is www.texaslapbandcenter.com I believe .. His phone number is 972-566-2263, also have you looked at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas?  I know they are a Center of Excellence which is required by Mediciad.   How hard have you looked?  Do you really want this?  Just stop the pity party.  If you want support that's one thing but whining, I get enought from my 7 year old.

Bull****

I have a friend who is currently a Hospice nurse in Houston, Texas. She's currently contacting hospitals and surgeons in your area. I'll let you know what I find, if/when I decide that it's worth my time or hers, for that matter.

She had her WLS surgery done a few years ago  just outside of Houston.

If you really want to have the surgery, you'll figure something out. If not, I'm starting not to care.

Okay. You are a liar. There is not a chance in a million you have called THREE HUNDRED places.

You need to get your medications adjusted.

DUDE!!!  Strap some on and act like a MAN!!!  Quitcher *****in' and acting like a little whiny *****  You probably do not have any friends because you whine, snivel, complain, want everyone to feel sorry for you, AND you hide behind Jesus Christ.

The Jesus Christ that I know and have learned about since I was born is nothing like you make him appear.  He has put the path in place for you, yet you are so used to shutting yourself off from all else and blaming others for it that, 1) you cannot see what He has for you, or 2) you simply do not care because you have absolutely no desire to change.

It is quite clear by your responses to the others who have gone out of their way to give you phone numbers or SEVERAL places that do take medicaid that you just want to be pitied.  Being pitied is the least of what you NEED!  I am SMACKING you upside the head and telling you to get your **** together, stop whining, make some EDUCATED phone calls, GET the information you need, and THEN make an informed decision about RNY, DS, LAP BAND, whatever other WLS there is and whether it is for you or not.

You have not once mentioned your pastor or your advisor in your spiritual life.  Talk to them.  I cannot believe they remotely believe the bull**** you have posted about regarding your blood, etc.

I AM NOT BEING MEAN TO YOU.  I HAVE NO REASON TO SAY THESE THINGS TO YOU EXCEPT TO MAKE YOU MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT AND RE-EVALUATE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE SO FAR AND WHAT YOU CAN STILL DO TO MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION ON WHETHER TO HAVE WLS OR NOT, NOT JUST SPEW SOME BULL**** ABOUT JESUS.

That Jesus stuff is a total copout and I call you out on it.  Get it together, while you still do have the potential to have a good life.  Change your attitude from that of a david downer to that of a positive, can-do individual and I am willing to bet there will be several people ready, willing and able to help you.

THE BALL IS IN YOUR COURT.
