CONFUSED ATKINS VS ENSURE Shakes

My nutristionist re commended Ensure High protein shakes..But the grams of sugars are 19 g but protein is 22 g I bought Atkins tonight they have 1 g sugar and 20 g protein..5 g of carbs.. seems to be the best choice so far.. I got strawberry supreme.. pretty good too.

Are there other vitamins and/or minerals that Ensure provides and other shakes don't? ---Jojo BMI 37/208 Pre-Op

I would get the ATKINS' SHAKES (they are very good and most importantly LOW CARB)...That's too much sugar in ENSURE.. Don't you think? Diva Doll

Hi LIsa I have never been able to try the ensure.....I'm sure it is b/c of the sugar. I did this past winter drink the Adkins shakes ALL THE TIME!! Now, that it is spring and summer I have moved on to the Necters Melissa in TX

I love the Atkins strawberry one. I'm not even a strawberry fan but it's my fav. I have tried powder after powder and seem to do best with ready-mixed canned shakes. Keep on keepin' on!

My nurse said absolutely no Ensure, way to much sugar. Brynda
