OMFG, I was laughing so hard I blacked out.
You really could do stand-up.

Getting the loon to admit that she had no clue what you were talking about was simply priceless!

OMG, haven't you heard? With all of her titles, there must be a MD oncologist there somewhere in the mix.   Don't you know she knows all, sees all and is master of all of her minions.  I guess she read somewhere on her DS sites that this is what you had and that both your doctor and you are wrong. What do you know? It is just your body and she has read all of this information about it.  We should bow and curtsy when she shows her presence and shares her vast knowledge with us lesser beings. Apparently we are not smart enough to have had DS and spend the rest of our lives swimming in fat and grease so how are we expected to be intelligent enough to know what such a lowly being as a doctor give you a report on his findings of your biopsy? Yeah. OK

Must be great to be as omnipotent as Diane. We should all aspire to be so intelligent.

You know...

By posting your comments, aren't you doing the same thing you're accusing Diana of - and by that, I mean you're accusing her of being rude, condescending, pompous, etc.

If you think she's being a ***** why don't you stop being one, too?

Just a thought.

Yes you are right Jackie. I was so flabbergast by Diane telling that woman that she did not have cancer was just a step too far into the ridiculous. I admit I slipped and sunk to the childish level .  Maybe though that is the language best understood by those at that level.

On her profile page, she said she had Barrett's.  Barrett's is not cancer:

What is the risk of esophageal cancer with Barrett’s esophagus?

People with Barrett’s esophagus have a low risk of developing a kind of cancer called esophageal adenocarcinoma. Less than 1 percent3 of people with Barrett’s esophagus develop esophageal adenocarcinoma each year. Barrett’s esophagus may be present for several years before cancer develops. Esophageal adenocarcinoma is frequently not detected until its later stages when treatments are not always effective.

So like a summer full of really bad sunburns may eventually case skin cancer...we can't call it a precancerous lesion until it becomes actinic keratosis and then we don't call it cancer until it is.

Some people are drama queens...I have a friend from elementary school.  She's 64 years old, otherwise healthy and tells us with a  v-e-r-y serious tone that she has just been diagnosed with mild osteopenia.  BFD.  It's pretty hard to find a 64-year old female who doesn't have at least MILD osteopenia.  But hers is much more serious, you see.  Like the chick with Barrett's.

Go read Medley's Profile. She herself said it was Barrett's Esophagus and was PRE-cancerous. Diana got her information from Medley's own words.
