Careful.  I'll take my vitamin-deficiency-riddled mind and go crazy on your DS stinky butt!

You just love me for my cookies.

And YES, she is bat**** crazy.  People like her make me wonder about the competancy of the psych evals.  I know she stated she was rushed for surgery due to a medical condition -- but shouldn't there have been some psych eval as well?

well, I wouldn't mind the homemade cookies, I'll admit that - I had to go to the Girl Scout cookies.

If she didn't actually PLAN WLS, but ended up with it because of cancer - no psych eval cuz they wouldn't have had to submit for WLS  prior approval.  But who knows what's a lie and what's the truth with this crazy broad.  I don't know where the cancer could have been that REQUIRED the BOTH the stomach portion AND the intestional rerouting.  I just know she's nuts (and so is the woman on here that's listening to her surgeon and her nut and taking 4 vitamins).

Nah.  She just doesn't realize what's going on, that's all.  I mean, we're nameless people behind computer screens -- what the hell do we know.  I get that.  I mean, I was her at one point.  And then I understood when faced with a dropping D level, rickets, and a call back from my surgeon with, and I swear to god "Just keep taking your tums and flintstones and you'll be fine."  Not even a worthless script of D2 -- just tums and flintstones -- something I hadn't even been taking at that point (because I knew a little better on my own (this was prior to me starting to learn my knowledge) and still ended up in the mess I was in.

It's alright.  Some people have to learn the hard way.

And then there are some that will never learn at all.

I wonder if what she posted discloses that she and her surgeon conspired to fabricate a reason to get her WLS without going through the proper pre-authorization (e.g., because she didn’t qualify, or because she could not possibly pass the psych exam)?  I wonder if her insurance company would like to see this thread?  She had Barrett’s and they claimed it was cancer??

You're definitely onto something.  The gerbil on her ticker is one acorn short of her 145# goal, and she has only lost 69# in her 4 months.  She highly doubt she qualified for WLS under the ASBS guidelines.  I looked at her pre-op pics, she may have been on the high end of overweight, but I doubt she tipped in at even obese.

She had it to "cure" her  ::cough::  cancer.

She crossed the line wishing death & pain onto Chad, but she really pushed it by playing the sympathy card for her non-existent cancer.

I do think that her insurance company would be interested to read all that she has disclosed here & on her profile... I doubt it lines up with what her "world class" surgeon submitted.  Bet he really appreciates her dragging him into this.

OMG . . . to the newbies . . . . the DS surgery doesn't make you mean and angry, but apparently the RnY makes you nuts!  (is this a result of vitamin deficiencies or something?)
The RNY is gonna make me nuts?!?!?!  I don't want nuts, damnit!!

You seem to be safe . . . . passed the 2 year mark  - most nuts appear before that :)
