Cipro is another broad spectrum that comes in a (very expensive) liquid suspension if needed.  I recall taking it early out........most antibiotics can be special ordered as an oral suspension - takes 24 hours for a local pharmacy to get them.....but your doctor has to order.  WHat does your doctor say??!?  Susan

Bactrim DS is big you might want to break it in half...BUT the silly sulfa drugs don't work for me.  I usually get Cipro and you can't take that near vitamins but it is definitely easier to swallow...take care and hope you get well soon.  Patty B

Having just gotten out of the hospital saturday I will tell you both those antibotics I'm alergic to. They both will put me down. Either my joints will swell or my liver will act up and I end up in the hospital critical.

What they finally put me on was Keflex. Before surgery I had some problems with antibotics after I react quickly to those that I'm alergic to. Kidney infections are no laughing matter. If you can't take the pill ask to go to the ER and have it through an iv. Most of my stay in the hospital that is how they did it. - Jaz
Lost 170 now between 150-160. Century Cards  go to http://swords.cc/ohcc/oh_card.html Just copy one of the cards styles there and use a paint program to put your name on it and save as a gif or jpeg. Sorry I can't do up seperate cards any more.

If you have any arthritis issues, Cipro will cause more problems. But seriously, your physician should be choosing the correct medication for you, not us.

Good Luck and hope you feel better soon.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
