Does decaf coffee or tea count as part of our daily fluid requirement?
I was told YES- as long as it is decaf.
Had a cup of decaf coffee yesterday for the first time since surgery. Little milk and a little splenda...absolute heaven.

Why does having FF milk in my decaf make it not count? It's still liquid. I just have to be sure to keep track of the calories that I am adding (and the protein, by the way). I was never told that adding milk to my decaf would somehow nullify it. When you drink FF milk, do you not count that toward your liquid? Why not?

It doesn't matter if it has calories or not, it still counts as long as it's caffeine free. (pshew!)
