HARASSMENT

nobody needs to share personal information about themselves on a support website.  it's like AA-- it's anonymous (at least if you want to be).  we share our experience strength and hope (ok, sounds cheesy but there is truth in that).  sharing advice on how to get surgery in mexico where it is less expensive to obtain (some of us aren't lucky enough to have health insurance or have wls covered) is not the same as advertising a specific weight loss center that pays you to recruit patients.

i don't really believe that you were harassed in this particular situation.

I've read the thread because I'm just darned nosey. MWG has always been wonderfully supportive and very respectful when she has answered anything I've posted and I thank her for opinions and insight.

When you post on a public forum, you need to be mindful of their TOS. I think I may be one of the few people *****ads all of the TOS guidelines before I click "I agree".  Everyone has their own perception of the original post. MY perception is that you were advertising a business. However, maybe OH doesn't see it that way.

As for posting childish nonsense? Darcie, YOU were the one posting the childish nonsense and attacking MWG for calling you out on the original post in that thread.

If you cannot RESPECTFULLY agree that you disagree on a post, perhaps you should just not respond to that thread.

My two cents. Not that it matters. Makes me feel better, though.

Wow, this thread went to hell in a handbasket very fast.  If you don't like each other, just block each other.  If there are violations of the TOS, instead of flaming each other and creating an unpleasant thread, please just report the posts.  Moderators, if you consider this backseat moderating, I'm not in the least offended if you delete my post. For someone who came back 4 days ago, you certainly are stirring up a lot of problems. For someone who claims to have been a board moderator, you should know very well that advertising is against the rules. If you want to push your job, buy an ad. Do the people you're working for know you're advertising here? Do you think they would welcome the loss of business that you could be causing them?

I think it's wonderful that you lost weight with RNY and kept it off. I had the band, hated it, and revised to VSG. I feel I am qualified to share my personal experiences related to those surgeries. When I want to know more about RNY and DS, I seek out the experiences of those who have had those surgeries.

You came here clearly advertising for personal ($) gain. When another member called you on it, you started this thread and filled it with half truths. If you worked for me and I read these two threads you started, you'd be on the unemployment line... STAT!
