BIG MEDICINE One-Hour Special to Air Nov. 18, 9PM Eastern on Discovery Health!

As you've heard by now, we're very excited to let you know that the upcoming one-hour follow-up special of BIG MEDICINE's "Where Are They Now?" will air on Wednesday, November 18 at 9PM Eastern on Discovery Health!
This truly is "do or die" time for the show. We need as many viewers as possible! And we need you watching live -- not via DVR later -- so that the cable network can get a true count for viewership. Nielsen ratings are still used; however, you no longer have to have a Nielson "box" to be counted. New technologies allow the cable companies "access" when you're watching -- they'll know if you're tuned in, so PLEASE put this date and time on your calendar and tune in that night.
If we get good ratings, there is a high probability that we'll get a third season on TLC or on Oprah's new network (she bought Discovery Health last year and it's changing over in 2010).
PLEASE spread the word and tune in! If we don't get good ratings, BIG MEDICINE will go off the air forever. We hate to see that happen because it's had such a positive impact on the lives of so many viewers, surgeons, and has helped educate the public about morbid obesity and appropriate treatment.

My name is Ruth Rowe I too enjoyed Big Medicine . I was 68 years old when I had Lap-Band surgery My Surgeons Name is Dr. Jonathan W. Wallace , he is at Suburban Surgical Care Specialists .Sc I had my surgery on March 25th and 3 Days before I was Married to My Husband for 46 years so I have lost 23 lbs and I feel great . Thanks to Dr. Wallace I am Happy I had My Surgery.
