Well it is pretty disappointing that you can't 'trust' a fart. I have a lot of gas. Morning, noon and night- especially at night.  Sometimes it is loud farts, some silent but they all stink!  I finally broke down and bought Devrom- of course due to the recent activities of today, I should have kicked in the extra money for exress shipping.

The real crappy part is that I don't have any more sick days left and I had to stay at work!

Quite crappy indeed.

You had to stay at work but you got to change, right?!?! I really hope so. How embarrassing!

Heather- I had my surgery one day before you and I get the pee with chunks too, exactly the same way you described it.

Luckily I haven't sharted in a while but it did happen the first week I was home and I had to change everything, pants and bed sheets and all.

I know I am late to the party, but I wanted you to know that this is not normal.  I am 5 1/2 years and have not had this happen....like most things in life, everything is individual and who knows what this was related to.

I am sorry but I have to roll on the floor and laugh now.

That happened to my best friend when she too was at work.  She did not have WLS, however, she had a stomach bug and the next thing she knew she went through all her clothes and it was even on her  work chair.  But at least we can laugh about this!

LOL, i had to laugh!  I cannot tell you how many times this has happened to me, esp early out.  More often than not I have to stuff my poopy drawers in my purse and go commando the rest of the day.

The one thing that helps me is Benefiber.  I put a TB in my protein drink each day.  Now that I'm 16 months out it doesn't happen so much.  I am more constipated than anything else these days.
