Tattoo designs for 100 pounds gone!!

I want to get a tattoo to celebrate and I am at a stand still. I like stars but also want to include my journey. I am stuck!@

Well, I am going to cheat with my tattoo, really.  I have a butterfly on my left ankle which I got when I lost 50 lbs back in 2001. After I get to goal, I will have my surgery date added under it.

I was also thinking about getting stars tattooed on my back for each 20 lbs I lose.

So much skin, so little time. LOL

I like the stars idea!!!

My husband-slash-tattoo enabler has paid for a few tats that I've gotten as rewards for my reaching my goals: 100 pound loss, reaching my goal, reaching normal weight.

What designs *I* got might not mean anything to you, and vice versa. For my 100 pound loss, I got a sacred heart and for reaching my goal, I got wings added to it.

The cool thing with stars is that you could always get, say, one for ech 10 pounds you lost, so you'd have 10 little stars in a constellation, and you could add more if you lost more.

My daughter has stars going down her back tapering to mid back like a random trail with lg (size of a quarter)  med sml and tiny very pretty and lady like so I was thinking to get that for every pound lost once I get to goal she has 72

That sounds pretty. But my goal is 150 pounds...I'd have a whole lot of starts...lol

I have a thought for mine....IF I ever decide to get one...
I want 3 elephants for 2 reasons....me hubby and son....past present and future.
I would like them in a habitat scene walking across my low back holding trunk to tail. It is a connected journey I am making and they are my support.
Now with this wonderful idea i see soooo clearly in my mind...I am kinda not tooo into tatoos so I don't know if I will ever do it.
But, I think for ME that one would be cool. Maybe I could get a temporary one to see if I might like it.
good luck finding a desing and kudos to you for your journey!  I would like to add wait til after plastics if you think you will have them as sometimes they have to be cut....my friends back art was cut thru for her abdomen work.....just sayin.

my husband hates tats... when i say hates i mean hates!!!
that being said I want to get a butterfly on my back. I have a scare from back surgery i would like to cover and it goes from a great healthy little Caterpillar to a buggie in hiding to a great beautiful butter fly... I was thin, got heavy and hid from the world and went back to loving my life and being thin (At least that is how I'm planning on this going lol)

DH wont be thrilled, but it has meaning to me

I'm planning on getting cherry blossom flowers I think going down my back once I reach my goal. I think I will get 1 for ever 10 or 15lbs that I have lost. I can't wait to get to my goal so I can get it done, I'm so excited about it!
