So which opinion of mine do you disagree with? That my mother doesn't deserve for this to happen to her, or that people who think she shouldn't have access to affordable (or better yet, FREE) healthcare ARE uncaring?

What her mom is going through isn't an opinion. This is real people who are going without care. People who paid into the system all their lives.
We all should be hurting for everyone who is lacking the basics, through no fault of their own.
I am HURT by how judgmental these post have been to me. No body knows anything about me or the situations in life I have been through.
I personally do think everyone should have access to healthcare - I just don't happen to think the current plan is what is best for this nation. Before people start judging and hoping my house burns down maybe you should be a bit more inquisitive and get the facts.
I will never post anything on this website again and I will never come here for help either because I guess we can only care about our fellow clones. Screw all of you. I will go lose weight by myself.
Although I would prefer to see a single-payer system adopted in the US, I would settle for at least getting the public option passed.

THEY SAY SILLY THINGS LIKE " IF THE HEALTHCARE BILL PASSES, WE'LL ALL BE OUT OF A JOB, OR WE'LL ONLY MAKE HALF OF WHAT WE'RE MAKING" HUH? IF EVERYONE CAN GO TO THE DR, HOW WOULD WE BE LESS IN DEMAND OR LESS COMPENSATED? ALSO, I SEE HUNDREDS OF PTS A WEEK, JUST ON MY SHIFT USING THE E.R. AS THEIR PRIMARY PHYSICIAN BECAUSE OF NO INS. SHE HAS NOT BEEN TO A DR IN 10 YRS AND COULD HAVE ANY NUMBER OF THINGS WRONG, BUT DOES NOT KNOW. I ALSO JUST RECENTLY REMARRIED MY EXHUSBAND( GOOD THING WE'RE FRIENDS ), SO THAT I COULD PUT HIM ON MY HEALTH INS PLAN. HE IS JUVENILE ONSET DIABETIC AND COULD NOT GET COVERED NO WAY, NO HOW. THANK GOD MY PLAN HERE, THE FIRST I'VE EVER HAD, DID NOT EXCLUDE PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS. HE JUST GOT APPROVED FOR AN INSULIN PUMP HE HAS NEEDED FOR ALMOST 15 YEARS. HE IS 42 AND WORKS 2 JOBS AND HAS 4 CHILDREN WHO NEED HIM. PEOPLE WORRY THAT UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE WILL REWARD THE LAZY, BUT LET ME TELL YOU, THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES WITH FREE HEALTHCARE NOW. IT'S CALLED MEDICAID AND ANYBODY OFF THEIR ASS AND AT A JOB, CAN'T GET IT. SHERRY

YOU CAN'T SAY YOUR NOT AGAINST UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE AND CALL THE PROPOSED PLAN "OBAMA'S SOCIALIST PLAN" IT JUST MAKES YOU SOUND LIKE A FOX NEWS PUPPET. IF THE PLAN IS NOT COMPREHENSIVE OR TOO COSTLY, THOSE ARE JUSTIFIABLE ARGUMENTS, BUT TACKING ON A SILLY MONIKER (WICH I THINK WOULD BE ADDED TO ANY PLAN OBAMA PRESENTED) IS A COP OUT AND DOES NOT SHOW YOU TO BE INFORMED AT ALL.
