Mine is too. It started about month 3 1/2 was REALLY bad until about a week ago and now seems to be slowing. I'm just shy of 6 months.

Most of what I've read indicate it lasts about 2-3 months.

Don't worry! You won't be bald! The reason it's falling out is because new hair is pushing it out.

That's what I keep telling myself anyway....

Mine too :o(    I started takin biotin 5,000 mcg a day to at least help with re-growth.   Mine started falling out heavily in later July & I was about 4 months post.

I am just about 5 months out.. and mine started to fall out a little over 3 months and was coming out alot last month, it just recently started to slow down.  It is still falling out just not as much.  I really dont mind because my hair.  I did increase my protein intake so maybe that is why it is not as bad as it was a month ago.

You are right about where most are when the hair loss gets bad. It usually lasts about 2 to 3 months. Biotin, zinc, folic acid help with regrowth, but there is really nothing to stop it, it just happens.

I've love over half my head of hair...thank goodness I had alot to start. I went back to my natural color of black... it made a big difference. I don't blow dry that often and try not to comb it all the time. I hear it will grow back eventually...But I wouldn't change what I did not one bit... very happy with my result.

Hi!  It sounds like most of us have had the same experience.  Yep--I started losing tons at about 3 mos. out.  I'm now 5 mos. out and it has really slowed down.  I'm taking biotin and folic acid daily.  Boy, I really have to recommend the biotin for fingernails...   I've NEVER had such strong, gorgeous nails.  Kind of a swap for the sparse hair at my front hairline!  I wear bangs to cover it so no biggie.  Hoping to see new growth real soon.  Good luck!  Hang in there...

I am 3 1/2 months post open roux en-Y, and will probably make everyone else feel gloriously hairy after you've seen my cue ball of a head.
Fortunately, I have always hated my hair and fantasize about shaving it all off on bad days - so I am not as distressed by things as I otherwise might be if I had nicer hair to begin with!
