From his eyes you can tell he had a beautiful soul.  May he rest in peace.

I can not believe he is gone. He passed away the same day my friend Kelly did.  Some how I hope they are together looking after all of us.   I have so many good  memories of him and I remember all the late night phone calls when I first had my surgery in 2003.
   Godspeed Kirk!

I am sorry about your loss . It seems in life that we meet so few good souls . I am glad you found your friend if even for a moment. I would have liked to have spoken to him , I started this WLS journey last year on July 16th , I was 538 pounds and Now am at 345 . I think the super morbidly obese have alot more to deal with then the average patient . We have alot of demons ( speaking for myself) and we have to make sure we fight them every day .

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. May your successes be the legacy that he leaves behind. While he is gone, I'm sure you can help him live on in memory by doing the work he did for you with others.

Get back up and walk forward, and smile when you think of him, because he really seemed like a great person.
Moving forward is getting back up off the ground when you fall

 Hi Bo,

I am so sorry to see this,, Kirk was always on the boards when I was on them years ago.. His thoughts were always so giving and thoughtful, He was so sharing of his experiences.

He wil be missed in this world... but I am sure he will go to be just as dynamic in the next..

Till we all meet again..

I read his blog years ago & found it inspirational.  He was a nice man.

Rest well.

I can't stop crying...and I didn't even know him.  May he rest in the lord's arms...never to have struggles again.

I am heartbroken.  When I began my journey 5 years ago, Kirk was an inspiration to me.  I chatted with him in the OH chat room many many times and he gave me strength.  Rest in Peace...
