If I were Dr. Lane I would fire you. If his practice lacked "customers" he sure is going to be in trouble because, after reading the nonsense you've been up to, I certainly would never consider him to be my surgeon. As health care professional, I have NEVER seen a patient going online in an office but I suppose it was the best "excuse" you could come up with.PA's as a group add a lot to the medical profession. It's individuals like you that give the group a bad name... shame on YOU.
You know what has got to be embarrassing? There are a lot of Dr. Lane patients on OH (unless all the testimonials are fake and that could be!) and when they read this thread and the others they are never going to see little Amy quite the same way again. ;o) That has got to be embarrassing facing those people after getting caught posing as a patient on OH. ;o)
In addition, though it's highly doubtful that her claim of having let a patient log onto the office computer is true, I'd be rip roaring mad and demanding answers if I were one of his patients and read that she let someone log into the office computer. Most medical records are stored electronically these days, and the computers in doctors' offices are supposed to be secure.
She's really dug herself in deep with this one. Either she's falsifying testimonials (likely), or she's allowing access to supposedly secure computers and jeopardizing the patient confidentiality laws...
Either way, if I were in her position I'd start looking for other employment pronto...

You know, that's a great point. I hadn't considered that before.
Either way she's in a world of pooh.
HEY AMY! How's your weekend going? Do you cringe as you read this thread?
I'd love to be a fly on the wall as Dr. Lane reads this... unless he put you up to it?

Well even if Dr. Lane put her up to it, she's shown complete incompetence in her duties and deserves to be fired for that alone LOL!No, she deserves to be fired for her spelling and grammar. ;o)
I'm all for a relaxed writing style on message boards but when someone comes here and they are writing on behalf of the medical practice and she can't figure out basic grammar and spelling.... that's spooky.
An inability to properly write her comments, four IDs, fake testimonials, insulting people who don't want to go to PAs, overall dishonesty ... good reason to hit the road.

Dr. Brian Lane moved his practice a year ago from a small community hospital in Bowling Green Ohio to the University of Toledo Medical Center a university based, research hospital. the move was part of a continuing effort to provide the best possible care for our patients. Recently we have had many questions regarding the University being a teaching hospital and the rumor that students do part of the surgery has been circulating. this is absoutely false. the university trains residents. the SENIOR residents observe and may do a small part of the surgery. this is elective surgery and Dr. Lane and I, his PA, do the surgeries. Senior residents and a Physician Assistant are MUCH more skilled than a scrub technician at assisting in surgery as is the case in many smaller facilities.
please call 419-383-6932 if you need any clarification.
thank you,

Your doctor has had more than enough time to remove the fake testimonials you, his staff person, wrote on the MD profiles section.
Now I do believe your boss put you up to this.
