How long after surgery can you eat tomatoes?

My nut said I could eat tomatoes right away just no skin.  Just blended them with some season salt and pretended it was soup.  Nothing tasted as good.  I still eat salsa like soup almost everyday!

Follow your surgeon definitely BECAUSE they are all different.  I think for me tomatoes were allowed somewhere around week 5 but not sure.  You are adding back all the time and tomatoes are good for you.  It's just at first you might get a bite and be full.  Be glad with 2 beans and the such.  You will do fine.  Don't worry darlin and you've made the right choice to be healthy.  Congratulations...that is what you should focus on.  Remember tomatoes can be dried too if you have an overabundance which we do every year.  We then freeze them and put them in everything and they are great.    Take care Patty B  Welcome Newbie

Thanks for the info, from all of you.

I just am craving a tomato.  Silly isn't it.  I look at my plants daily and hope I can have one in a month or so.

Thanks again.
