OT: Studying for NCLEX-RN
Congratulations for making it through nursing school! It is tough! I did it almost 20 years ago as I was raising 3 children (I graduated at age 37- late bloomer!). I enrolled in a review course for the N-CLEX; best thing I could have done. They covered all of the questions on the exam. When I took the test, it was the easiest test I ever had to take. One of the other replies told the truth when they said, you either know it or you don't. So relax and enjoy all of the opportunities that will be available to you in the future. Nursing has always been so good to me; I have never been sorry I went through the struggle to get my 'RN'.
And be proud you have been able to control your weight as you went through school; not an easy thing to do!

Best wishes and good luck. do not study from too many different sources. Get one book and stick with that. Like someone else said you made it through nursing school so you should be good. Dont over think this thing. I have to say that i have taken both the LVN (LPN) and RN test the computer stopped at 75 and 85 the min for both and I passed. I am not the best person to give study advice becuase i dont think you should lose sleep over studying. So relax hit the gym, take a walk relieve some stress cause once you start working those 12hours shift good luck finding the time to exercise. Take care and congrats on the WL and the boards.

Hi missy-h!! I am a newbie to the site, thinking about deuodenal switch.....but your post caught my eye!! I am in the same boat as you are. I just finished nursing school and I am awaiting my ATT also!!!!!! Good luck!

I have to agree. Don't even bother studying for your boards. If you got through school and clinicals, the test is a breeze. The questions are designed so that you either know the answer or you don't. It's a lot of common sense. I did not study for even one hour. I got my notification and scheduled the first available test and went and took it, and passed. The more psyched out you are about the test, the harder it is. You'll be fine. What we are going through now before and after the surgery is by far harder than the boards.
