I have not been able to have a good, gut-clearing heave since my DS ..         I often wonder if it is due to the reduced sleeve size (after all, the stomach is one giant muscle) or possibly an impediment to the Vagus nerve resulting from the surgery ..     However, I have heard other DS patients say they don't have that problem ..  Strange ..      I just hope it won't get me in trouble if for some reason I need to vomit, for a health reason ..

Frank talk about the DS / "All I ever wanted to be was thin, like that Rolling Stones dude ... "

I dry heave also but only once did I throw up but it was different - it was a dark brown liquid, almost thought it was bile or something.  Really burned coming up.  Never happened again.
