Well well back to the Gold Cards

Yes I finally sat down to start working on cards and found out I was missing one of the files I use to edit. It's gone.. vamoosed... zippo.

But I did find the older file with the credit card size version of the card. So far it looks like folks can again use the larger card so going back to editing those. Right now I have since oh my lord 09-2008 requests for cards that I have not been able to fill due to my move, a hacker, new job, family and well the first 3 months of this year have been rather painful for me.

The good thing is my daughter and roommate have been great helping me out. Lets see here.

01/06/09 I found myself going to the ER because I had hit my head after rolling out of bed and had a seizure.

02/01/09 I fell mopping the floor at work and ended up for the next 2 months dealing with neck and back pain that had me unable to sit for very long at the computer.

04/20 somthing/09 Had me again in the ER due to very odd pain they still can't find the reason for. They thought it could of been my gaulblatter (yes I still have mine) or just the pouch acting up. In any case after hours of tests and taking pictures they found nothing and I have been fine ever since.

So my main focus has been health, family and work. So doing cards has been outside my ablity as has most of my online hobby/work. SOO getting back into the grove this week has been hard to do since my computer somehow lost a file.

I do have a back up in my box of requests and I will do them weather the folks still want them or not. I don't forget just have to make time for the extras is all. If you wish a card please send me a IM. I have a few days off this week and will work on the cards.

Right now I will only be doing the styles in my sig. Heart, Rose, Butterfly and Lotus. If you don't tell me what one you want it will auto be the Heart. If you can edit your own card please save one of the graphics at http://swords.cc/ohcc/oh_card.html I use CS2 Photoshop to make the cards and they are saved as gif.

For those who have cards from me PLEASE do not direct link them from my site. I will be removing the cards at some point from the site. They are only there temp. For folks to collect them and post on their profile's photo section.

I have had problems with hackers getting into my site and I am in the process of limiting links, etc. And once I flip the switch you won't beable to direct link pics from my site anymore. You can thank hackers for causing this.

PLEASE only link from your photo directory on OH.

To save the card to your computer. Just click on the link I give you in your IM then right click on the card and save it to your computer.

Then get on your OH site under your profile. Click on the photo section and save the pic to your OH site. It will ask you to browse through your directory. Most likely when you save it it was to the Mypicture directory on your computer. Upload that pic.

Then when you wish to post it in your sig or messages on oh all you do is CUT and PASTE. You go to the photo directory and click on the thumbnail you wish to view. DO NOT cut and paste that thumbnail it's a very bad pic. When the picture shows up in the center box then right click on it.

This time do COPY... then go to the sig or post you are editing and PASTE it or ctrl V. It will then show up there and be linked to your oh account. Save and your done. No more using extra bandwith from my site. And if I move anything you don't loose your card.

Please if you are curretnly linking to my site change it as above. Again I will be moving the cards to another folder and it is possible they will be deleted. OH has been given permission to save the cards any time they wish from that folder and keep a copy of them here.

Well that is all for now. I will be working on cards and post again when I have them done. I think there are around 20 cards waiting right now. -Jazelle

Welcome back!!!  I hope life begins to treat you better! 

Oh over all it's been fun and interesting. Just hit a few speed bumps along the way. Today for Mother's day I decied to plant some flowers along the front of the apartment. The kid was at a friends house this weekend and my roommate was sleeping because he worked tonight. So here I am with nothing to do so I go over to Kmart and get some plants and such.

Woke him up and asked if he could help plant the garden since my back was acting up. I think he smiled a bit sleepy and said sure to wake him in a hour. So I sent down to make dinner - beef stew- and tell the kid to get home. She assumed I met she could stay till 5:30pm. Anyway wake him up at 4pm when his motherinlaw calls asking to talk to me for a bit. That was nice... it also seems I can't get away from work.. She asked me about some GNC items....hehehehe it did not bother me so I helped her out.

Then the kid came home and had a talk with her about her timing. Went up and woke him up again. The kids made a fast at the door because I kissed him. Ohk I wanted that garden really badly...

Anyway shoo the kid downstairs to help me plant the garden and tell her how to do it. He comes downs and helps too. We all had a good time making the place look nice. Then off to eat dinner. Everyone loved it. He thanked me then when to lay down for another 1/2 hour before going to work.

The kid of course was on her computer after dinner. Saw him off and looked at the garden. Joked that the landlord will be shaking his head over it all and kidding him about his subcoming to the female charms. It's been a guy's place for 4 years and pretty much just the walk way swept until today. He laughed about but did give a slight sigh.

For the rest of the time I was working on the cards and posting. Tomorrow I go to work and get to be store manager for 10 hours. A job I enjoy a great deal because I can help a lot of folks with their health. I also get to see many folks who have had surgery. We all talk about it and show pictures.

As I said except for the speed bumps having a good time here. - Jaz

By the way those who wrote to me since August 2008 your cards are up and you should have a IM with the link and how to save them. Any problems just write to me. Anyone else wishing cards just IM me please. - Jaz


PS I am thinking about offering another service. I will have to see what it will cost me to set up. I might be able to make cards you can carry around. I had a few requests over the years for them and now am thinking seriouslly about doing them up. The online card will always be free.
