Does anyone here shop at j jill? How do their sizes run?

I saw a top online at j. Jill that I'm interested in purchasing. I was wondering if anyone knew how their sizes ran? For example I find Old Navy clothes run very large and Lane Bryant runs a little small. Where would J Jill fit in?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions and help in this matter.

I have a lot of J. Jill clothes and find that they run true to size.  If you have anything from Talbots -- I think J. Jill sizing is about the same as Talbots.  I agree with you about Old Navy running large; don't know about Lane Bryant.

Personally, I think J Jill's sizing runs rather large.  I usually shop at Talbots which I thinks runs small but when I put on too much weight to feel comfortable in the sweaters there, the sweaters at J Jill were baggy on me.  They do have good sales though and you can usually find a promo code/coupon online to get an even better deal.

Linda, thanks for your reply. Now I'm a little confused LOL but I also felt that Talbots sizing was a little small so I guess J Jill is larger than Talbots but still smaller than Old Navy?

And thanks for the tip of looking for coupons - I always do that before I order, but it's still good to be reminded.

Don't know if this helps, but when I got down to my lowest post-WLS surgery weight of 155, I could wear anything J Jill in a size 10 on the bottom & M on top--perfect fit to a slightly loose.  The Medium jackets still fit when I gained about 20 lbs--the pants did not.  I think that their pants run true to size--slightly smaller than GAP & that the tops/jackets run a little bit on the larger size of true to size.  As compared to Talbots, I think that J Jill is a curvier cut, where I have found Talbots to run longer and straighter (not necesarily bigger v. smaller).

Also, They have petite sizes at J Jill, which for tops/.jackets were perfect for me b/c of a slightly shorter arm length.  I have never been able to wear a petite in any other brand, so depending on you're proportions, you might also want to consider that.

BTW-- I fell in love with J JIll post-WLS.  The clothes seemed to be perfectly sized & proportioned for me.  They ahve GERAT sales too.
