I agree, but I feel better now........and rest assured I will still be calling my dr. Monday morning to touch base about this. I am a worrier and stuff that people say I take to heart, which can be good and bad.............nobody knows better than my dr. and I will call him. But nice to know I don't really need to rush into the hospital or that I am drying from this..........

One of the things I suffere from is dry mouth. At my last visit to my dentist, she gave me a product that prevents dry mouth at night when you sleep. Its a gell that flavored and you put a little on your finger and rub it on the roof of your mouth. You can then move it around with yoru tongue. At first I didn't think it would work, but it has and I no longer wake up in the morning having problems swallowing due to no moisture in my mouth. Ask your dentist about this product. Hope this helps.

If you had aspiration pneumonia you would be in ER right now in severe respiratory distress! It is most likely just something fom your sinuses that drained down the back of your throat overnight. Sinus drainage is often a little bloody.

I would call my Dr. coughing up blood is also a symptom of COPD.  Coughing up blood is not something I would take lightly.

Be on the safe and call your family doctor.

*sigh* You're freaked out, but you're not going to "bother" your doctor. What a lousy decision. You'd rather seek advice and reassurance from a message  board than "bother" your doctor. But when you hear the reassurance you WANT to hear, it's apparently okay to take the advice of the message board.

That is a phenomenally stupid way to think, when one phone call could have long since put your mind at ease.

People die because of that kind of thinking. CALL YOUR SURGEON AND QUIT BEING A DAMNED FOOL.

Wow, nothing like being a bit HARSH here...one cough and a little blood, I wanted to know if it happened to anyone else. Isn't that what others do here, ask if something has happened to others?? If it was an on going thing or I was coughing all day long etc....I WOULDN'T BE A DAMNED FOOL I would of been at the hospital. I guess in the back of my mind I didn't think it was anything too serious to call the dr.....instead I sought the opinion of others here, I am not stupid and believe me I would of called had it been more..............my gosh, when I call today I will let you know, if your interested, what he says. Chill out..............just reading your post stressed me out.............
