Just had to send you a quick note.. I totally forgot about your blog site.  I just went to it, looked around a little bit, really liked what I saw so far!!!  I will definitely be checking back more often!!!

I hope to make it to chicago & perphaps seattle.  Hubby & I are thinking about doing a vacation around the seattle conference!!!

Hi Nick...you're not someone who'd like to be in our fashion show, are you?  We're going to have a great time in Chicago.  I'm actually staying here at the Intercontinental right now, and aside from the weather, having a good time!  We're meeting with lots of doctors and hospitals in the area, and getting very good response from them about being involved in the event at some level.  We've made some good friends along the way!  This hotel is awesome. June is going to be great!

I first met you at the OH event in Pittsburgh last year.  I was thrilled and inspired after hearing you speak.

I am once again looking forward to hearing you along with the other scheduled speakers at the Chicago event.

I sure wish you could visit Canton, Ohio sometime,...the members of our group would benefit and love to hear your inspirational WLS journey.

I'm from MI as well and might be going. I see that Dr. Schram is your surgeon. He is mine as well! I just went to your profile and noticed you have a surgery date scheduled. When are you having it done? I see Dr. Schram tomorrow (second visit, my last one was 2 years ago) and I have my psych eval and PCP letter ready to go. How long did it take for you to receive an approval and have your surgery scheduled?

I got good news and bad news! I had my 2nd consultation with Dr. Schram on Thursday and by Friday afternoon I found out I was approved through BCBS to have the lap RNY. I'l be having surgery late May/early June....will find out this next week. This means I probably won't be able to go!

'That is GREAT news...no bad there!! Congratulations!!

There are other conferences in the year, and I typically attend all to them. Now you will have an excuse to make it a real get away. Shoot for the NYC one...that one would be a great personal goal marker to set...its in october, you will be on well on your way then.
