It seems like I'm losing weight in weird locations.  My shoulders and chest (not boobs though) are bony looking but my gut is still this HUGE spare tire.  I'm not *****ing, it just seems odd.  I would think it would come off more evenly.  Anyone else melting into a weird shape?  I am totally grossed out my the collarbones...I CAN FEEL THEM!  I never could before.  Not that I remember.  I  still weigh 280 some odd pounds.   Last time I was 280 (Highschool) I had big fat shoulders and more chins.  Hummn.  Weird.

It is weird but I do the same thing.  The collar bones come and go...seems like I can tell I've dropped a few pounds when my collar bones get more prominent.  I also seem to lose it around my rib cage which also leaves me looking like I have a good ole' spare tire.  My belly has always been the last to go...

As I undertand it, as you age, you can lose/gain weight faster/slower in different parts of your body.  This is somethng that can change.

Wt loss is usually noticeable "from the top down". People normally notice you're losing wt due to a thinner face. Then collar bones show. Depending on age, your boobs may go. Hips and legs tend to be last.  DAVE

I would be glad to lose boobage...not yet though.  Still sportin' the DDD action.  I have no hips at all...no a$$ either.  Never did. Wide and pancake-y.  No bubble.  All my fat is in that tire I think. grrr.  I know I look weird but I feel great.  I just wonder what the science behind this is?  Why top down?  gravity?  lol.

When I'm up late I think too much.

I *finally* started losing up there this month. Before that I lost so little my cup size actually went *up*.

I'm bony on top too. So are my wrists. The boobs are finally starting to go and I hope the spare tire is next.

I am exactly the same! I am really bony-can feel my collar bones really sticking out! I have also lost alot of weight fro around my rib area, which is weird as I still have a big gut, and therefore look pregnant as opposed to just fat! My bum has disappeared and my legs have definately slimmed, it's the gut that is really bothering me now! It is starting to go now, but too slow!!

You think  your collar bones are funny wait til  you have hip bones again...and I was so used to all the padding in the rear from before...now it hurts to sit on hard surfaces for any lenght of time...I think we all lose in wierd ways...my boobs are always the first to go...not that I can afford to lose there but they do and it seems to melt down...leaving my legs to last I guess...Well keep it up you will discover lots of things other people take for granted every day...my new favorite thing is getting into the tub and soaking...lol it's the simple things that bring us pleasure...Have a great day...It's very very windy here today hope it doesn't find it's way to you.....Bridget

Oh yeah! I melted top down, too.  My collar bones appeared fairly early, somewhere around 240 pounds (100 down) and the rest of my skeleton followed eventually. Hang in there, you will "even out" and be very happy!
