Excess skin "down there"?

Yes, I think insurance would likely pay for it combined with a tummy tuck, but make sure you well document any hygiene or health issues you're having related to that. Mention it EVERY time you visit your primary care doctor and ask them to document it. Ask them for any possible treatments, creams, powders they might recommend, and ask them to document it in your health records!

I know that my friend had WLS several years ago and after she lost almost 200 lbs, insurance covered her tummy tuck (an anchor incision) and also a mons lift at the same time. I don't recall who her insurance carrier was, though. But she had no trouble at all with getting approval.

Have you taken your vitamins today?

Well my insurance approved my surgery on the first letter but I had great documentation on part as to all my complications and prior back surgeries, etc that lead to my needing the surgery.  So I think if I do the documentation as you suggest I should be ok.  Thank you for your suggestions!

I have noticed "odor" and wondering if it wasnt some of the excess vitamins being eliminated in the urine.

I think that could be different from what I'm referring too!  It's not a smell when I urinate or anything like that.  It's just in general all the time.  But seeing what everyone else has mentione in prior posts, I'm pretty sure it's part of the excess skin.
