Yum,    I use the vanilla Whey Protein Shake that I buy from Walmart...

add a scoop of frozen strawberries or bluberries, two tablespoons of non fat dry mil**** spenda, water and 1 scoop of the vanilla whey protein and put into a blender and it is so good..........

I love protein...............  Vanilla........   I have added strawberry sugar free syrup and blue berry sugar free syrup with a little frozen fruit and I always put the dry power milk in and it is really good..

Good luck,

I use the Any Whey Unflavored brand powder.  It is not 100% tasteless, but I mix it with a few tbsp of sugar-free peach Torani or Da Vinci syrup and about 8 oz water.  I love it!  You can't taste the "protein" flavor at all.  They more syrup you use, the sweeter and tastier it is.  I also use this for baking and cooking.  I just discovered adding it to my morning yogurt topped with fruit soaked in sugar-free almond Torani or Da Vinci syrup and a handful of homemade granola.  One scoop of protein powder doubles my intake and that's a good thing!  I guy mine at www.cheapvitamins.com and it costs about $44 for a big 2 lb tub or like $28 for a 1 lb tub.

The Atkins ready to drink shakes are great.  Get them nice and cold and you can't even taste the yucky protein.  I love the mocha latte ones.

I can definitely relate.  I am just a week post op, RNY, and I am so so so so so so so sick of chocolate...vanilla, strawberry, you name it.  I was never (despite what my weight shows!) a sweet lover, I was more of a fats/meaty kinda girl.  lol.

What I do - I have a chocolate protein scoop with my skim milk in the morning.  That gives you the protein from the shake stuff, and the milk.  Then, for "lunch" I drink one new whey protein shot with a bit of fat free, no sugar added popsicle or italian ice.  It seems to make it better.  They are not that big, but each gives you 42g of protein.  They even make a smaller sized one with just 25g in it.  They are no sugar, no fat.  This is over half the protein I need for the day - and make up for the other amount with yogurt or something else with a just a bit of protein.  Now are they the tastiest thing in the world, well - they remind me of my kids old liquid spray candy if you've ever tasted that - but they're easy, and something different than the usual "choconillaberry" fever as I call it.

There are different flavors too, and different places you can find them other than the link below.  Just wanted to give you an idea, that was the first one that popped up.

I also saw these while I was searching, although I've never had them.

I dont know if you are much of a baker, but SF LowFat cheesecake is a great tasting way to get a nice amount of protein.
I made one similar to this...without the crust and it should be ok when you get to the pureed.
Used lowfat or nonfat products on the cream cheese, sour cream, etc.
I used a springform pan and it was fine without a crust. It cut into nice pieces. Also used sugarfree strawberry preserves on the top when I was a little further out.

Quick - go online to Enjoyhealth.com and order the nectar sampler package.  It has one packet of all the flavors. Just mix with water.  Very convenient to take to work. I mix with Crystal light. I like the cherry and fruit punch one the best.  You can do this. I went back to work two weeks after my RNY on 12/9/08. I worked all through Christmas and New Years. Yes, I was tired, but my boss knew I was recovering and went easy on me.  If I needed to leave early, I did.  I nibbled on string cheese alot or ate a Carb Control yogurt cup (5 g protein) which raised my blood sugar a bit.  Then I moved to chili (any kind will do) and pureed chicken breast which I would nuke with a Kraft cheese single for chickeny cheesey goodness and lots of protein.  As I began to eat real food, I felt better. So you see, it gets better.
