Hi I am 8 months post op and am really happy with my results- BUT I lost 100 pounds in first  6 months and the past 2 months I have only lost an additional 9 pounds and the past couple of weeks I have been at a screeching halt even gaining and losing the same 2 pounds.

I am trying not to get discouraged- been doing the eliptical almost every day and keeping my fluid and protein levels up. The only difference is I have been eating more carbs than usual during this time. I have been getting sick from plain protein so been having some carbs too to help it go down. I also can not tolerate veggies- raw or cooked..so that is a bummer. I am also hungry- ALOT.

I thought I would have more time to deal with this! I didnt expect to be this hungry this soon! Anyway any advice would be so appreciated. I want to lose another 15 pounds or so and I am frustrated. I am also using fitday.com which is helping me see that my carbs are high...but I need help to get them down! I have s few choices for things that dont make me sick. Strictures have been ruled out.

My nut suggested trying Beano for the veggies so I am going to pick that up tomorrow see if it helps. But I get so uncomfortable and such pain or vomiting every time I eat them its tough to keep trying.
Thanks all!

Cook them in soup...till they are really mushy and try that too. I was lucky and could eat "problem" veggies like broccoli since 3 months out. Thank god! I have been a vegetarian...well Ok, former CARB-a-tarian, (reformed) since 1989.

Some veggies are harder to tolerate than others.

Try Edename for snacks.  Soybeans are yummy usually well tolerated and filling.  Up your protein if you find yourself hungry more often and push tha****er at the right times.  Watch that you are not drinking to close to your eating and pushing things through to fast.  Things like soybeans and soychips tricked me into thinking I was getting carbs when I wasn't the carbs as you know are just gonna make you hungrier.  You are right on track by listening to your body and realizing what is going on.  You are gonna be fine.  I wish you blessings as your journey continues and know that others have wisdom to share as there is much advise and support to be found here.
