How did it feel not to fear your Christmas gifts?
You are so right. Thanks for letting us share our wow Christmas moments this year.
In fact, I think one year after getting the wrong sized sweater...I suggested we do a Yankee Swap...therefore no size specific clothes!
We love our Yankee Swap at Christmas. It is one of the highlights of our family party.
The other highlight is the video made of past Christmas pictures. I am so heavy in nice but snug clothes in those pictures. My insightful grandson who is 7 said, "I was the woman that no one recognizes (now!)"
I have gone from a size 3X to size M in tops, size 28 jeans to size 10.

I told my daughter that my one of my big goals was to be able to buy and wear Ralph Lauren oxford shirts tucked in. Of course she remembered and bought me a couple in size 12 for Christmas. At first I thought 'in a couple of months these will fit'. Nope, I wore one of them yesterday, tucked into my size 14 Levis :) Last year it was 3X trying to hide the fat.

What an awesome post!
This year my family blessd me with clothes - and lots of them! I had ben raiding my 14 year old daughters closet this winter so I am sure she was behind the idea that mom wants clothes for Christmas.
My family overwhelmed me with jackets, sweaters, pants and shirs. As I was opening them I would look at the size and try to not show disappointment on my face (even though my daghter told me later she could see it in my eyes). I was convinced that none of the clothes would fit. They were size small or size 8.
After opening all of our gifts I trudged off to the bedroom for the "fashion show".
I was so amazed - every single item fit!
Yesterday I returned one pair of jeans (4 new pair was overboard!) for a pair of dress pants. Hmmm...not a size 8 - a size 6!!!!
Awesome!
