I am 2 months post op and have been experiencing some back pain.  Has anybody else gone through that?

Yes, I had a herniated disc leading to spinal fusion...however I am an anomoly - there could be a THOUSAND reasons why you are experiencing pain in your back this soon out of surgery. I would advise you to call your surgeon, describe your pain, and see what he/she suggests.

Yes I threw out  my back at about 4 months post op. Chiropractor told me it was prob due to such rapid weight loss and lack of core strength. She said if you lose that much weight so fast you are also losing major muscle tone and that's what happened. I was in the ER and got pain meds and anti inflammatory shot because we cant take them orally. Then i went to see chiro and she has helped me immensely. I did not believe in chiro but was desperate- cant believe how amazing i feel now!
I hope you get some relief.....I do alot of special exercises now to strenghten my stomach and core...seem to be helping.

Regular stretching and exercise help a lot with back pain. They have made a big difference for me, at least.
